Introduction

PHONEINT ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what the app accesses, how it is used, and what is never collected or shared. Last updated: June 2026.

Data the App Accesses

The app reads your contacts and call log on your device to make them instantly searchable, and uses phone & SIM state to place calls from the correct SIM. This data is never transmitted to any external server.

How Data Is Processed

• Contacts and call log are cached locally (Room database) on your device only.
• The app does not upload your address book and does not use leaked or purchased number databases.
• External lookup (Google, Bing, number-ID services) only opens when you choose to search a number, in your browser.
• No analytics or advertising trackers collect your personal data.

Permissions Required

• Contacts — to search and display your saved names.
• Call log — to search and show your call history.
• Phone / SIM state — to place calls and offer dual-SIM selection.
• Display over other apps — for the optional caller-ID popup window.
• Notifications / Boot — for the widget and background readiness.

Data Retention

All cached data stays on your device and can be cleared from the app settings. Uninstalling the app removes all stored data.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.

This policy may be updated from time to time; changes appear here with a new date.
